If possible, stuff with quilting backing cut to size to help maintain square shape, especially at the front of the screen
Embroidery (adjust to preference)
For the embroidery on my CRT monitors, I unravel some black yarn, and use one strand at a time.
I tend to mark out the edges of the screen, a VHS slot, and some on/off buttons with a bit of green and red. This is really the easiest section to change however you want though, so feel free to experiment!
