This fun underbust started life as a toile for the orange one! I'd done a first properly messy toile half out of calico, but for the next iteration, this stripy canvas was the most suitable material. Since the pattern was right on this version, and since the fabric looks good, I just ended up making a lining and finishing everything off properly for it!
The pattern started out as an Edwardian underbust pattern from Aranea Black, though it seems like that particular one isn't up on her site anymore. This Tulip midbust is the closest currently available.

The outer is either 100% cotton or a polycotton blend (I bought it over 10 years ago for a school project and don't have any left to test if I was so inclined), the lining I'm pretty sure is 100% cotton, and the boning is all synthetic baleen that I definitely did not steal from my mum and have definitely not since fully commandeered the roll of.
This is by far the corset I wear the most, and is also the only one I feel comfortable using as underwear - all my others seem too... ornate? In any case, it's incredibly comfortable and does its job very well.
