Murder Bunny - The Playboy Springtrap Bunnysuit

Oh look, another yellow (mostly) villain. I definitely don't have a type(!) Just need to do a Sinestro corset now.

For a fandom with a franchise full of rabbit characters, I'm sorely disappointed at the lack of playboy versions of Bonnie, Toy Bonnie, Springtrap, etc. I've found exactly one other person who's done a playboy Bonnie costume, and only a few pieces of art even! Though that one person who drew Matthew Lillard in a bunnysuit? I love you, never stop doing your thing.

The pattern for this started as another Aranea Black one, which I'm very glad I downloaded since her site is closed now, unfortunately. I had to basically mutiliate the entire thing though, adjusting widths, and significantly adjusting lengths. This eventually meant that some of the seams just didn't match up. But some were perfect! Panels 2 and 3 matched perfectly, but 3 and 4 had a good 1.5cm gap! So weird...

If I end up making another bunnysuit, I'll correct that, but for this one, I didn't bother, just trimmed down the top and bottom edges and smoothed everything out with binding. It got wrecked anyway, evidently - and I'd already cut out the pieces!

Originally, I'd put a zip in the back of this. It fit me with effectively zero reduction, so I thought it'd be easier to manage. And then it broke. Damn! So I ended up with lacing after all. It did mean that I could just thread the pompom tail onto the bottom 'rung' of lacing though, which was a convenient way of attaching it.

One of my main ideas for how to create the Springtrap-ness of the costume, as opposed to Spring Bonnie was to cut away the fabric to reveal the bones underneath.
